Coyote Pride

January is School Board Recognition month. Take this opportunity to help acknowledge thousands of public servants who make the time to share their vision and voice about the future of Texas children. A special thanks to our board members: Pres. Jason Lewis, V. Pres. Kay McKee, Secretary Tana Lusty, Sally Gossett, Grant Appleton, Rennie Mann, and Cade Martin.  

This is San Saba County Stock Show Week! The San Saba County Stock Show will begin Thursday, January 11th. Please stop by the Show Barn and watch the county competition, and the Youth Fair at the San Saba Civic Center to view student exhibits. If you see Mr. Dennis this week, tell him thank you for all he does for our Ag students!

These elementary students have met their AR goals for the 3rd 6 weeks and were rewarded with ice cream, prizes, and games during lunch in the Library on Monday, January 8. Congratulations to: Makayla Kubin, Tora Eaton-McGhee, Taylon Melton , Piper Shannon, Mia Tharp, Ron Stewart, Kinsley Tipton, Emma Bryant, Ian Haug, Dalton Moats, Hunter Stewart, Sirr Beam, Kolton Bench , Fallon Soto,  Flora Appleton , Robert Bench , Landry Brown, Calyn Kubin, Troy Kubin, Rush  Norris, Billy Perry, Adelin Valdetero, Gage Behrens, Caigan Crabtree, Simon Eaton-McGhee, Austin McKee, Luis Oyervides,  Hudson Tharp, and Shooter Wright. READERS ARE LEADERS!

The Lady Coyotes basketball team is 4-1 in district play and is coached by Rick Lasley. The varsity boys are 2-1 in district play and are coached by Thomas Tipton. The junior high girls are 5-1 in district play and are coached by Rick Lasley. The junior high boys are 5-1 in district play and are coached by John Cherry. Come to the games and watch the fast-paced action of Coyote basketball.

            We have a great community, students, teachers and staff. It looks to be a great year at Richland Springs.
