Coyote Pride

Parents of students in grades 7-12 are urged to sign drug test permission forms and return them to school as soon as possible. The only way the school can test students with a urinalysis is with both student and parent permission. Contact the principal’s office if you need any further information. Help keep our students drug free!

The varsity started off the year with a long road trip to Jayton and met a state contender team in the Happy Cowboys. It was a high scoring shoot-out.  The Coyotes lost their opener by a score of 96-74. This week is Homecoming Week!  The varsity Coyotes take on Waco Methodist at Coyote Field.

The Homecoming pep rally will be downtown at 2:45 p.m. on Friday.  The 2017 Homecoming Court will be introduced at halftime during Friday’s game, immediately followed by the announcement of the 2017 Homecoming Queen and King. Miss Adrienne Benson and Mr. Reid Blodgett are the senior class nominees, Miss Berkeley Mann and Mr. Jared Martin are the junior class nominees, Miss Gracie Ashworth and Mr. Wade Appleton are the sophomore class nominees, and Miss Kaitlin Sutherland and Mr. T. J. Grant are the freshman class nominees.  Richland Springs ISD also honors and recognizes two former alumni each year as Coming Home Queen and Coming Home King. They will also be announced at halftime of Friday’s game. The varsity Coyotes will play Waco Methodist at Coyote Stadium on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Come out and help celebrate the Homecoming activities!
