Coyote Pride

The summer officially ended for Richland Springs staff as they reported for inservice on Monday, August 14th. Thanks to the teachers and staff, we had a great first week of inservice and preparations for classes. Our entire staff looks forward to welcoming students back to school. We extend a special welcome all new students to the Coyote family!

August 21st begins the first 6 weeks of the school year. Attendance is important! Encourage your child to be at school every day. Please try to schedule doctor’s appointments after school if possible. Good attendance is so important to student success. If you desire a conference, please schedule a conference time with your child’s teacher. Parent involvement is important! Get involved in your child’s education.

Football practice is entering week 2. The Coyotes are looking forward to a successful scrimmage vs. Lingleville this Friday night at Coyote Field. A lot of freshmen will see playing time. The Friday scrimmage also includes MEET THE COYOTES  which is always a huge success and provides everyone with an introduction to athletes and coaches. The Coyotes scrimmage at Abbott next week.

Class schedules will be given to students in grades 6-8 on the first day of school. Any students who missed registration can register for classes the first day of school.

If you see a teacher, a coach, or a staff member, tell them how much you appreciate their efforts. We have a great community, students, teachers and staff. Remember to drive slowly through campus during the first day of school Watch out for our parents and students who will be on campus for the opening week of school.

Students officially report for the first day of classes on Monday, August 21st.
