The annual Alumni Banquet was held last Saturday in the gym. The earliest class honored this year at the banquet was 1947. Many of the past alumni said they learned more than just reading and writing from past teachers. They learned perseverance and shared a sense of community. I believe that this feeling of community is still shared today. I know of no other alumni banquet like this one anywhere in the State of Texas. Thanks to all involved for keeping this reunion alive and well.
If you see a teacher in public, tell them how much you appreciate their efforts. We have a great community, students, teachers and staff.
Have a safe and enjoyable summer!
Community involvement is the key to our success!
